  • Freeport Area Senior High School Took Audiences to Heaven!

    Freeport Area Senior High School recently presented SISTER ACT and used TheatreWorld's Baroque Cathedral Interior to make their stage look heavenly! These pictures are a great example of how a using single drop plus a few set pieces create maximum impact while taking up minimal space, leaving plenty of room for blocking and choreography. Smart choice!

  • Christ Wesleyan Theatre Wows with SOUND OF MUSIC Sets

    Backdrops and set pieces that make them sing--these are a few of our favorite things! Christ Wesleyan Theatre rented TheatreWorld's Garden Ballroom backdrop this fall for their production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC and we were floored by these fantastic photos. The functional balcony, stairs, and the realistic paint work really sell the feeling that we're in an elaborate mansion. The chandelier, which gives the illusion of coming straight out of the backdrop's painted ceiling, is the icing on the cake. Beautiful job!

  • Miss Chelsea's Dance Academy Presents a Colorful NUTCRACKER

    We really enjoyed these vibrant NUTCRAKER photos from Miss Chelsea's Dance Academy! The pinks and purples they used to light our Grand Ballroom - B and Palace of Sweets backdrops really made the details pop and, with the costumes, created a whimsical and varied color palate for the whole production. Congratulations, cast, crew, and production team!

  • Diablo Ballet Presents a Creative NUTCRACKER

    Diablo Ballet's recent performance of THE NUTCRACKER SUITE looked absolutely elegant. Pictured in these beautiful photos are TheatreWorld's Baroque Parlor, Rose Terrace, and Starry Night backdrops--further proof that non-holiday backdrops can shine just as brightly as traditional holiday backdrops for all your seasonal events. "Bravo" to all involved!

  • A T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C CHARLOTTE'S WEB

    There's no need to be "humble" when your stage looks as "radiant" as Pearl High School Theatre's did during their recent production of CHARLOTTE'S WEB! Our Vintage Amusement Park backdrop, combined with their barnyard set pieces, straw-strewn stage, and patriotic bunting, transported audiences from Zuckerman's farm to the county fair. "Terrific" job, Pearl High School cast and crew!

  • The Savoyaires' Set Was a Perfect Match

    It can be tough to seamlessly integrate a backdrop with your own set pieces, but The Savoyaires recently did an impressive job doing just that! The intricately painted details on their stairs and platform blend right in with the carvings and flourishes of our ever popular Baroque Ballroom backdrop. Wonderful work, Savoyaires!

  • Pink Talking Fish Put on the Greatest Show

    Our Curtain Circus backdrop has never looked cooler than it did on stage with Pink Talking Fish! They rented Curtain Circus for their recent show THIS MUST BE THE CIRQUE, which also featured aerialists, inflatables, confetti, and more. It looks like it was one epic event!

  • Floyd Central High School Goes INTO THE WOODS

    Floyd Central High School's shows always impress--and their recent production of INTO THE WOODS was no exception! From eye-catching costumes to the way the set pieces were integrated with our Clearing in the Woods - B backdrop, we loved these photos. Great work, cast and crew!

  • An Elegant Evening with Krewe of Sant' Yago

    Local customer Krewe of Sant' Yago recently shared these elegant photos from their annual debutante ball. The debs and dads looked absolutely regal in their finery and our popular Baroque Ballroom helped set the stage for this royal extravaganza! We were happy to support yet another Krewe of the Knights of Sant' Yago event!

  • Pleasant Hill Christian School Presents THE MUSIC MAN

    Congratulations to Pleasant Hill Christian School on their recent production of THE MUSIC MAN! Pleasant Hill chose TheatreWorld's Vintage Midwest Town to portray River City, Iowa. We love the way they used lighting to add an old-fashioned feel to daytime scenes and then to transform the stage into a romantic moonlit night. Great work, cast and crew!

  • The Waterford School's Tiny Dancers Made "Tiana's Garden" Pop

    These tiny dancers from The Waterford School look sweet as can be dancing in front of our popular Tiana's Garden backdrop. Their use of lighting really brought out the blue tones in the backdrop and made the pink flowers on the water lilies pop!

  • Hollister High School's "Big, Bright Beautiful" SHREK!

    Hollister High School put on a "big, bright, beautiful" production of SHREK: THE MUSICAL--featuring several of TheatreWorld's most popular SHREK backdrops! We love the depth our Dragon's Lair Graystone added to the stage in this photo. Great work, cast and crew!

    The Bristol Ballet Company's production of SLEEPING BEAUTY looked fit for a princess with the help of our royalty-ready Garden Ballroom backdrop! Their gorgeous costumes added an extra dose of elegance. Beautiful work!

    Central Valley High School Theatre Department's set design for their recent production of MARY POPPINS looked "practically perfect in every way!" Our London Rooftops backdrop worked beautifully with their detailed set pieces, creating the illusion of being high above London.

  • Danceology Presents a Fairytale Recital

    Danceology's recital was a dream come true! Their fantastic costumes, plus our Storybook backdrop, created magical visuals straight out of a fairy tale. Everyone, from littles to teens, looked like they gave it their all. Beautiful work!
