Customer Photo Roundup: Spring 2025
The TheatreWorld team loves receiving customer photos. It’s an absolute delight to see the creative ways our customers use our backdrops to bring their wonderful events to life! This photo roundup features some of the fantastic photos our theater, dance, and event customers shared this past spring. We hope you enjoy this selection of Spring 2025 customer photos!
Spring 2025 Photos – Theater Customers
Our first set of photos kicks off with a roundup of some photos our theater customers shared this spring. We begin with a photo from Theatre Collective of Northwest Arkansas’ production of Disenchanted. Their production featured our Enchanted Castle backdrop, which they enhanced with varied color washes and arches painted to look like castle walls. In an excellent example of incorporating backdrops and set pieces, Wauwatosa East High School used our Tranquil Woods Backdrop to add depth behind their two-level set for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. The effect was epic!
Medieval Street added the perfect historic feel to Do It Big’s production of Oliver. TheatreWorld’s Haunted Mansion Foyer backdrop was creepy and kooky enough for Bentonville West High School, who used the drop in their recent production of The Addams Family. Beast’s Castle was the hero of Bridgeton High School’s production of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical. Flagler Playhouse’s production of Disney’s Aladdin took audiences to a whole new world with the help of TheatreWorld’s Agrabah Palace Exterior backdrop. Vintage City Street adds tremendous depth to any stage, as seen in this purple-toned photo from Brevard Regional Arts Group’s Anastasia. Finally, Mountain Meadow looks as alive as Maria’s hills themselves in this photo from Legacy Christian Academy’s production of The Sound of Music.
Spring 2025 Photos – Dance Customers, Part 1
Next, we’ll explore photos from our dance customers. First up is the ever-popular Rose Terrace, seen here supporting the elegant ballerinas of Brooke Desnoes Ballet Academy. Next, Danceology brought retro vibes to our totally rad 80’s Montage backdrop with their fun neon costumes, complete with legwarmers! Elevation Dance Studio sparkled with the help of glitzy, glamorous Diamonds are Forever. A & A Dance submitted two photos. Together, they show that Hollywood Red Carpet can work just as well for elegant ballet numbers as high-energy hip hop routines. The tiny tappers of Feet in Motion looked big city cool against TheatreWorld’s Stylized Manhattan backdrop. Finally, Bristol Ballet’s interpretation of Alice in Wonderland absolutely came to life with the help of several TheatreWorld backdrops. (Pictured here are Alice’s Maze and Mushroom Forest.)
Spring 2025 Photos – Dance Customers, Part 2
Our next group of dance photos starts on an elegant note with Mid-Columbia Ballet. They stunned audiences in white costumes that popped against the crimson and gold of our Paris Opera House Drape. Orlando Flamenco had similarly striking costumes and, additionally, suspended round white lanterns above the dancers’ heads. The combination was absolutely gorgeous against our Plaza de Espana backdrop. Phyllis Guy Dance Studio’s dancers sparkled in emerald sequins. Their skirts matched the distant Emerald City in our Road to Oz backdrop perfectly!
Next, we dive under the sea and into the most charming photo from Pointe of Grace Dance of Athens, who rented our Coral Kingdom backdrop. Kudos to the creative costumes and props, including the adorable umbrella jellyfish! Pursuit School of Dance’s Cinderella looked like a dream come true, thanks in part to TheatreWorld’s Fairy Tale Castle. The dancers at Royal Dance Center impressed audiences against the glow of Fire Sky. Lastly, Class Act Dance Studio dancers looked ready for their close-up with the help of TheatreWorld’s Hollywood Lights backdrop.
Spring 2025 Photos – Event and Set Design
Finally, we close with a few photos that demonstrate how, with props, decorations, and set pieces, you can use a backdrop to create an immersive environment. First, Grand Theatre Foyer – B looked more elegant than ever with the addition of diaphanous drapes and glittering chandeliers. Great choices, School of Philadelphia Ballet! Next, Spring Forest Middle School and Willis Road Elementary Wolf Pack Productions displayed similar instincts. Both groups did a great job adding set pieces to our Cornfield backdrop to create old-fashioned farms on stage. They each created a homey feel that complimented the sprawling fields nicely. Last but not least, Housing Hope used our Family Room Interior backdrop to create a cozy setting for their annual Stone Soup event. They report it really made everyone present feel comfortable and encouraged conversation.
