Cinderella is presented in many styles, from elegant and romantic, to grown-up, yet whimsical, to cartoon-like. No matter which interpretation you choose, TheatreWorld has all the backdrops to bring the magic of Cinderella to your "own little corner". The story begins with the whole village aflurry with excitement--the prince is giving a ball! BELLE'S TOWN SQUARE - B, featuring a distant castle, is a colorful place start this tale. Several scenes in Cinderella take place in forests in various parts of the kingdom. For these scenes, TRANQUIL WOODS is a magical combination of realistic and fairytale. Cinderella and the prince will dance the night away in our very royal VICTORIAN PALACE BALLROOM--and, of course, ENCHANTED CASTLE is just perfect for iconic scene where Cinderella loses her slipper. If you'd like to use one single drop for the whole show, STORYBOOK has all the fairytale magic you need in a single drop. For something more abstract, consider THE CLOCK and watch the hours until midnight tick away. However you choose to present Cinderella, with TheatreWorld backdrops, it's sure to be "a lovely night"!

Cinderella Backdrops

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Based upon the classic fairy tale, and particularly the French version Cendrillon ou la Petite Pantoufle de Verre, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s adaptation brings new life to the story of a young woman forced into servitude who dreams of – and achieves – a better life. Cinderella features some of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago.”
