Get ready for the fright of your lives! Even if you're building a complete Victorian house onstage, you can still use backdrops to add interest to the exposed portions of your stage. Consider BLUE FULL MOON, a forest of skinny trees with a night sky and brightly glowing full moon. CLOUDY CRESCENT MOON, with its slim crescent moon and ominous clouds, is another frightfully fantastic choice. Or, go super simple with STARRY NIGHT, a deep blue sky dotted with stars. Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.
