Lots of exciting backdrops for Winter Themes, DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID and ELF: THE MUSICAL!\u00a0 Brand new SHREK: THE MUSICAL backdrops releasing in October!<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Our design and production teams had the “pedal to the metal\u201d all summer long! We produced 60+ hand-painted designs for TheatreWorld\u2019s new backdrop line up for the fall season. These drops are ready to support Holiday shows and events. Additionally, we enhanced many of our most popular collections.<\/p>\n

Brand New Holiday Drops!<\/h2>\n

First, TheatreWorld enhanced our Holiday and Snow<\/a> categories with circa 15 new backdrops. These scenic masterpieces can support general holiday events, as well as the most popular holiday theatrical offerings. The image below is TheatreWorld\u2019s Victorian Street with Snowdust – B<\/a>, a stunning and exquisitely detailed Signature Series backdrop.<\/p>\n

Additionally, TheatreWorld has designed a collection to support Music Theatre International’s<\/a> pending release of ELF: THE MUSICAL<\/a>. These stylized, cheerful backdrops can also support other\u00a0 Christmas<\/a> events.\u00a0 Our new Santaland<\/a> backdrop, highlighted below, has been selected by Santa Jonathan<\/a> for his annual California Christmas show and concert. We are very proud to be small part of this well known event.<\/p>\n

New Drops for Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID<\/h2>\n

Next, our team enhanced our Disney\u2019s THE LITTLE MERMAID<\/a> collection significantly. We added 7 new top-quality backdrops. (Several of which are TheatreWorld\u2019s Signature Series Backdrops<\/a>!) The detail is amazing! Below, we’ve highlighted Ursula\u2019s Lair<\/a>. It doesn\u2019t get much more terrifying than this!\u00a0 The Little Mermaid backdrops are ready for your fall shows. BIG NEWS!!<\/strong> SHREK: THE MUSICAL<\/a> is coming to TheatreWorld \u201cBig Time!\u201d<\/h2>\n

Our design teams also completed 6 new designs for Shrek. These new designs are now in the hands of our master painters. \u00a0TheatreWorld\u2019s Shrek collection releases in October. It will be the most full-featured in the industry.\u00a0 The hand sketch below is a draft of TheatreWorld\u2019s new Dragon\u2019s Lair. The resulting backdrop will boast outstanding detail and will be a Signature Series backdrop.<\/p>\n

Introducing Headers and Legs<\/h2>\n

We’re pleased to report the majority of our forest and jungle<\/a> scenic backdrops are now available as headers and legs. This provides directors with the widest selection of woods and jungle scenery. These headers and legs can support any presentation, including Disney’s TARZAN: THE MUSICAL<\/a>. They are also great for any staged event that requires impeccable woods or jungle settings.<\/p>\n

GREASE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, DANCE, and More!<\/h2>\n

Additionally, TheatreWorld\u2019s backdrop collections for GREASE<\/a>, FOOTLOOSE<\/a>, and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL<\/a> all received new Signature Series backdrops during the summer. Please take time to visit those show pages.<\/p>\n

High School Gymnasium Scenic Backdrops<\/p><\/div>\n

Finally, we added many new backdrops to our Dance, Ballet, and Event categories.\u00a0 One unique example is TheatreWorld\u2019s Four Seasons Terrace. It encapsulates all four seasons in one masterpiece.\u00a0 This backdrop has been an instant success!\u00a0 Another drop sure to be a hit is Hollywood Red Carpet. (See sketch below.) This drop is currently in production and will be available for fall events.<\/p>\n
