Much of Gypsy takes place on various stages around the country--so THEATRE BACKSTAGE is a good place to start! For other stage looks, embrace classic RED AND GOLD DRAPES, a simple red curtain that won't upstage your star. Switch to slightly seedy SPEAKEASY once Louise enters the world of burlesque. Each of acts Rose dreams up for her girls have a very distinct theme. For the newsboy act, use NEWSPRINT. PRAIRIE FARM is just right for the fam act. Finally, CURTAIN CIRCUS is a vibrant choice for the Toreadorables. FAMILY ROOM INTERIOR would work for several scenes, but makes a perfectly ordinary choice for Rose's father's house, where she bemoans that she's not meant for a normal life like "some people." With a TheatreWorld backdrop on your stage for your production of Gypsy, "You'll be swell! You'll be great!"
