TheatreWorld is pleased to offer a Fifth and unique approach to producing your custom
backdrop. If you believe what you would like for your show or event has
broad based appeal, TheatreWorld may very well be willing to joint develop your
concept with you and rent it to you for your performance (multiple weekly rental
required).
TheatreWorld ‘Signature Series’ protocols and procedures are used for all Custom
Backdrop projects. Typically, TheatreWorld would like minimally 60 days for custom
backdrop projects. Cost will vary based on multiple factors, backdrop size, image
complexity, specialty paints or finishes, final images provided by client, sketches
required by our team, or if a custom pre-production computer graphic must be created.

Blog for overview articles on backdrop development, materials

Sample Custom Backdrop Projects
Company Logo backdrop developed for Salerno Entertainment Group, Inc.
Original computer graphic provided by client.
Backdrop intended to support multiple performance, event and trade show applications.
The below Signature Series Backdrop was developed from multiple “scrap art” images
provided by client resulting in a new custom design and backdrop and added to TheatreWorld’s
rental collection as “Futuristic City”.
TheatreWorld’s Olde World Toy Shoppe was a joint effort between Stages Productions
and our development team and has been added to TheatreWorld’s rental inventory.
The Toy Shoppe was developed based on concept conversation with the show’s producers
and directors leading to several sketches, followed by selecting color palettes
to be used, resulting in this beautiful Signature Series backdrop.
This spectacular backdrop was initially developed for a touring original production
but with several traditional theatrical shows in mind, Babes in Toyland, Pinocchio,
etc.
TheatreWorld’s American Tattered Eagle was developed in conjunction with two of
our associates and clients, Stages Productions and Salerno Entertainment. The backdrop
debuted on January 10, 2013 with Stages Productions in support of a six week touring
presentation of an original production called “Let Freedom Sing” and will be used
by Salerno for several concert events.
TheatreWorld’s Black and White Prairie Farm was developed using TheatreWorld’s Prairie
Farm as a base and it was modified with input from All Saints’ Ministries, Rob Tessie.
Rob will be presenting a full and imagery robust presentation of the Wizard of Oz
in July, 2013. It has been our honor to work with Rob for the Theatre’s grand re-opening
show.
